The Ray Armstrong Centre
The Ray Armstrong Centre in Ayrshire, Scotland, is a working farm which offers therapy and support to UK veterans.
At the Ray Armstrong Centre veterans will be treated as guests. The farm will be run by Frank Smith, a former farmer and business man, and his partner Diana Armstrong, a qualified and registered mental health professional.
At the Ray Armstrong Centre we will use Equine Assisted Therapy as well as other Animal Assisted therapy methods. We will offer EMDR and person centred talking therapy, biofeedback and practical support, such as cooking and budgeting lessons.
This site is only a test site at this point. The Ray Armstrong Centre has not yet opened. Please watch this space.
